Computer Vision Approaches to Body Language and Facial Expressions Analysis in XX-century Cinema

1. Abstract

The research aims to detect the difference between silent/sound movies and analyze the transition period from the perspective of movements. We use the computer vision tools to compute the needed characteristics of movies and perform statistical analysis to test our hypotheses.
