Discovering Digital Humanities Methods Through Pedagogy A Study of Introductory DH Syllabi

1. Abstract

An understanding Digital Humanities as a field is enriched through exploration of the way that it is introduced to students. This presentation reports on a study that examined “Introduction to Digital Humanities” syllabi as a means of discovering the values and methods that shape the field and as a window into the intersection of the research and pedagogy practices of the instructors who teach introductory courses.
